Minimum Wage in the U.S.

A LOT of jobs are less than $25,000 per year, especially minimum wage like waitering, retail, bartending, etc.

2016 minimum wage: $10.50, full time =40 hours per week = $22,260 per year (with no days off outside of pay leave).

IF the $15 per hour minimum wage passed = 40 hours per week = $31,800 (with no days off outside of paid leave). Approximately the pay of a dental assistant or flight attendant that is new to the career.
